Cris Trebotic began directing in 2014, after having worked as an Assistant Director for more than 20 years, specializing in Production Services in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil.
His vast experience led him to work with directors such as Zack Snyder (300, Justice League, Army of Dead), John & Josh Baker (Kin), Lenny Abrahamson (Room, Normal People), Jordan Scott, Traktor, Tarsem, and Jonas Akerlund, in the biggest productions filmed in South America.

His last work as AD was in “Relatos Salvajes” by Damián Szifrón, nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2015. He has management of the set that characterizes it for the good climate that is generated between all areas. His experience led him to film cars, drinks and food, specializing in directing actors.

He has filmed commercials for companies such as PEUGEOT, TNT SPORTS, BRAHMA, SUBWAY, VOLKSWAGEN, TELEMUNDO, VIRGIN MOBILE, CHERY and NETFLIX, in Argentina, USA, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile.
His script “12 Apóstoles” was one of the winners of the Cinecittá Contest for project development. It is currently in development with Anima Films and AZ Films.
He is 53 years old and lives in Buenos Aires.
